The Gettysburg Convention & Visitors Bureau welcomes your interest in Gettysburg and Adams County, Pa. We are happy to assist travel media with suggested itineraries and to facilitate visits to museums, performing arts venues, restaurants and other points of interest for articles, books and broadcasts.

Depending on the nature of your assignment, the Gettysburg Convention & Visitors Bureau can assist with accommodations, passes to attractions, media hosts, escorts and more.

Please allow three weeks advance notice for media hosting and itinerary assistance. If you are unable to meet the three-week notification, we will try our best to accommodate you.

In addition, we request that you send two samples of travel-related articles or coverage published in the past 12 months.

Please note that complimentary arrangements are provided at the discretion of the host business and are subject to availability. Black-out periods can occur that may necessitate a press rate, particularly at hotels.

Journalists are responsible for their own transportation to and from Gettysburg. The Gettysburg Convention & Visitors Bureau can assists in transportation around Gettysburg and Adams County as part of the media tour.

In addition, please understand that our primary concern is assisting working media and host locations are not always able to accommodate accompanying spouses, children and friends. When space permits, travel writers may bring a guest on media tours. However, that guest may be responsible for the cost of his or her own meals. Individuals under the age of 18 may not participate in media tours.
