Led by licensed Battelfield Guide, John Fitzpatrick Jr., Esq. With the Soldiers' National Cemetery as a solemn backdrop for a portion of this battlefield tour, gain a greater understanding of the Gettysburg Address in the context of the enormous personal, political, and policy pressures impacting the President when he prepared and delivered it. This tour will also include a tour of the battlefield along with the Soldiers' National Cemetery.
This tour is recommended for ages 13 and older. The tour will be ideal for both first time visitors and those who are interested in learning about Lincoln's perspective. There will be a moderate amount of walking on this tour.
This tour will be offered again on November 16, 2013 and November 24, 2013.
