The first 2013 Historic Gettysburg Adams County Educational Speaker Program starts March 19th with Gettysburg College graduate, retired Lt. Colonel, GNMP Interpretative Ranger and town resident, Chuck Teague who will present his thunderous power point program, "The Red Zone of the Underground Railroad." We'll travel back to Washington's era, the 1830s and into the years of Civil War as runaway slaves trekked through this area to receive help to secure freedom.

These seven free educational programs are presented in the historic handicapped accessible GAR building on the third Tuesday of each month March-October. No reservations necessary. For more information contact Regina Hollar at 717-334-8312 or [email protected].
