Historian, lecturer, and author, Tim Smith, returns to the GAR to introduce young Gettysburg resident, Jennie Wade, in Jennie's birth month only to be buried a few weeks later inn the summer of 1863 as the only town resident killed during the Gettysburg battle.  Tim will give life to Jennie, her family, her life style of the times and her friendships, an unusual story and twist of fate for three childhood friends that follow us now into Gettysburg 150 years later.

These seven free educational programs are presented in the historic handicapped accessible GAR building on the third Tuesday of each month March-October. No reservations necessary.  For more information contact Regina Hollar at 717-334-8312 or  [email protected].
