�The Gettysburg Festival ~ Celebrating America�s Cultural Arts� is an extraordinary 10-day arts festival featuring more than 60 world-class events. It is the only major festival in the world focused exclusively on celebrating great American artists, composers and creative geniuses in all genres of the arts.

World-class artists and performers, a mix of traditional American artists as well as innovative modern talent, present a variety of free and ticketed events. Festival events include music (brass, jazz, orchestral, choral and chamber), theater and cabaret, visual art, film, dance, culinary arts and children�s programming.

Charming venues throughout historic Gettysburg include the beautifully renovated downtown theater, The Majestic Theater for the Performing Arts; brick-lined Lincoln Square, named for our nation�s 16th president; the picturesque campus of Gettysburg College; and the hallowed grounds of the Gettysburg battlefield.

Tickets will be available in January 2009.

The Gettysburg Festival debuted, June 19-29, 2008, featuring more than 850 performers throughout its 11-day run, and attracting 16,000 attendees.
