The Bed & Breakfasts INNside Gettysburg is sponsoring an Eisenhower USO Christmas Party on Saturday, Dec.6.

 

The party, which runs from 8 to 11 p.m. at the American Legion Building on East Middle Street, includes holiday hors d�oeuvres, desserts and a band. Guests can also enjoy lively big band music, dancing, a cash bar and Christmas punch.

 

The event is open to the public and special weekend packages are available at the sponsoring inns. Weekend packages include a Christmas luncheon at the historic Dobbin House restaurant with Mamie Eisenhower, portrayed by local historian Ruthmary McIlhenny as she talked about life in Gettysburg and with President Eisenhower.

 

The party is a �Toys for Tots� event and guests are encouraged to bring an unwrapped children�s gift.
