The Bed and Breakfasts INNside Gettysburg invite the community to participate in a unique and elegant evening in the Grand Ballroom of the Hotel Gettysburg on Saturday, Jan. 31, with dinner and dancing in a Civil War environment.

 

Music Americana will provide period music, and dance master Briant Bohleke and his assistants will guide the dancers. No experience is required and although period dress is suggested, evening dress is acceptable. Prior to the dance, a full course meal will be served in the ballroom. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the dance will take place from 8-11 p.m.

 

The six participating B&Bs, the Baladerry Inn, Battlefield B&B, Brafferton Inn, Gaslight Inn, James Gettys Hotel and the Lightner Farmhouse B&B are all offering package plans which include a two-night stay, dance lessons on Saturday morning and the ball on Saturday evening. 

 

Outside tickets for those not staying overnight can be purchased at a price of $75 per person for dinner and the dance or $45 per person for the dance only. Those tickets can be purchased by calling the James Gettys Hotel at (717) 337-1334. A weekend package can be booked through the individual B&Bs.
