Wolf�s Bus Lines Inc. is proud to announce the recent acquisition of Stars and Stripes Tours. Wolf�s, a third-generation, family-run company, has been in business for more than 60 years and is located in York Springs, Pa.

Stars and Stripes Tours has a brand new look and brings some additional features not offered in the past. They still offer the Washington, D.C., tour but also have a selection of other day trips customers can take advantage of. Additionally, Stars and Stripes Tours offers a receptive services department that organizes pre-packaged tour planning.

Stars and Stripes Tours� two most popular tours run from June through October.

The first, a Washington, D.C. day tour that departs every Tuesday and Thursday from many Gettysburg locations, will highlight Washington, D.C.�s most famous attractions. It will include a narrated city riding tour past The White House, Washington Monument, Jefferson and Navy Memorials, The Capitol, Ford�s Theater, more than 30 embassies, National Cathedral and many more national landmarks.

The tour makes stops at the Iwo Jima, World War II, Lincoln, Vietnam and Korean Memorials and allows enough time to stroll through the memorials, take pictures or look a name up on the wall. In the afternoon, there will be three hours of free time at the National Mall and Smithsonian Institute area to visit museums, eat lunch or take a walk to local attractions.

The tour concludes with a delicious evening buffet before returning to Gettysburg. Stars and Stripes Tours is honored to have Suzanne Merkey, former co-owner of Stars and Stripes Tours and a licensed DC Tour Guide, accompany many of these trips. Merkey has more than 20 years of experience and extensive knowledge of Washington, D.C.

The second tour to Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course runs every Wednesday afternoon and leaves from both Gettysburg and Carlisle locations. Enjoy five hours to experience live thoroughbred racing and full-card simulcasting along with 2,000 slot machines. You must be twenty-one years of age or older to attend.
