Gettysburg bed and breakfast owner Jolene Macks has been invited to take part in Martha Stewart’s “The Sisterhood of Dreamers into Doers” shelter event in New York City.

Forty women from around the United States as part of the Entrepreneurial Group “Dreamers Into Doers” will take part in an event on Jan. 19 and 20 at Safe Horizon, a New York women’s shelter for domestic violence.

Each entrepreneurial “Dreamer” will share their talents at this event.

One of the Dreamers and Group Creator is Macks of Quite The Stir Bed & Breakfast Bungalow and Creating Quite The Stir Event Planners. Other planners will attend this event and local singing talent, Ann Walsh, will also perform for the Martha Stewart event.

The goal for this event is to inspire the women and children in the shelter and small business owners everywhere in the country to follow their dreams and to take steps to make them a reality, in spite of economic and domestic hardship.

Anyone interested in donating items to the charity, can contact Quite the Stir Bed & Breakfast at (717) 549-3631 or by visiting www.quitethestir.com or www.enchantedmakeovers.com
