On Feb. 26-28, join the Bed and Breakfasts INNSide Gettysburg for a tour of sites visited by President Abraham Lincoln in November 1863 when he delivered the Gettysburg Address.

Start by checking into your bed and breakfast on Friday and take part in an evening of activities and wake up Saturday morning and tour the historic Gettysburg Train Station where Lincoln arrived in town and the David Wills House where he spent the night on Nov. 18 and put the finishing touches on his famous speech.

Both properties are restored and give an interesting preview to the Saturday afternoon tour with Rob Frampton, Licensed Battlefield Guide, who will take guests on a walking tour of the Soldiers’ National Cemetery in Gettysburg. Each couple will receive an autographed copy of his book, “Lincoln and the Human Interest Stories of the Gettysburg National Cemetery.”

On Saturday evening, dine at the Inn at Herr Ridge with President Lincoln portrayed by Jim Getty. Each guest will be introduced to the president in a formal receiving line, spend time with him during dinner and listen to his story of the Gettysburg visit.
