Join the Majestic Theater on Thursday, March 18 at 7:30p.m., for the spectacular performance of Cinderella by the Moscow Festival Ballet.

With lavish costumes, a magical set, and breathtaking folkloric backgrounds, Moscow Festival Ballet’s “Cinderella” is an enchanting experience that proves dreams do come true. Cinderella is the endearing story of a young girl with a tender heart who finds good fortune, love and happiness through her acts of kindness.

“It is a timeless story and this one is truly special,” said Jeffrey Gabel, Executive Director of the Majestic Theater. “The Moscow Festival Ballet’s performance is breathtaking in its beauty.”

True to the age-old fairy tale, Moscow Festival Ballet’s Cinderella features a very bossy, unlikable Stepmother and two very vain Stepsisters. Cinderella tries to befriend them, but her efforts are thwarted by their jealousy. The ballet is based on the fairy tale written by the great French storyteller Charles Perrault (1628 – 1703), who also authored “Sleeping Beauty,” “Puss and Boots,” and “Blue Beard.”

The Moscow Festival Ballet was founded in 1989 when legendary principal dancer of the Bolshoi Ballet Sergei Radchenko sought to realize his vision of a company which would bring together the highest classical elements of the great Bolshoi and Kirov Ballet companies in an independent new company within the framework of Russian classic ballet. Leading dancers from across the Russians have forged under Radchenko’s direction an exciting new company staging new productions of timeless classics such as “Giselle,” “Don Quixote,” “Paquita” and “Carmen.” Since its inception, the Moscow Festival Ballet has completed two tours of Europe, with extraordinary receptions in Italy, France, Spain, Germany and the Netherlands.

Cinderella tickets are priced from $57 to $51 (children/students $5 discount) with taxes and fees included for reserved seating.
