Liberty Mountain Resort hosts Summer Celebration at the Mountain

Liberty Mountain Resort will host a “Summer Celebration at the Mountain” event on Saturday, Aug. 7.
Liberty invites guests of all ages to visit for a mountainside evening of fun and relaxation. Located just beneath the ski slopes, the outdoor base area will be open at 5 p.m. to all guests. The large outdoor swimming pool will be open and the grass area will be available for kids, families and groups that want to bring and play lawn games.
The barbecue will be cookin’ on the Alpine Patio and beer and other beverages will be available for purchase. Guests can enjoy food and drink outside on the patio or in the comfort of their own lawn chairs and blankets.
The main highlight of the event is the highly anticipated return of the Kelly Bell Band. A local favorite, the Kelly Bell Band is a rising band known for their energetic performances and eclectic blues music.
They have played at both Liberty Mountain and Carroll Valley resorts in the past and Liberty is excited to welcome them back to the area. The Kelly Bell Band will play from 7 to 10 p.m.
Tickets to the event are $10. Tickets can be purchased in advance online through midnight on Aug. 4 by visiting the event calendar at skiliberty.com. Guests can also pay upon arrival to the event at the ticket gate. Tickets include entry to event, use of outdoor swimming pool and the Kelly Bell Band show.
Outside food, beverage and coolers are not permitted.
Liberty Mountain is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains just north of the Pennsylvania�]Maryland border and only eight miles from Historical Gettysburg.
