Professor Kerrigan, illusionist and storyteller, will entertain crowds as he reads minds, tells chilling ghost stories, conducts a séance and talks to the dead at the Historic Fairfield Inn’s night of Spooks & Spoofs. On Friday, Oct. 29 and Saturday, Oct. 30, Professor Kerrigan will once again attempt to contact the spirits with the help of the 253-year-old inn’s ghostly inhabitants.

The Inn served as a Civil War Hospital, Stagecoach Stop, Colonial Meeting House and was part of the Underground Railroad for run-a-way slaves and has hosted may notable Americans such as Generals Robert E. Lee and J.E.B. Stuart, Statesman Patrick Henry and President & Mrs. Eisenhower, to name a few.

In the quiet, candle-lit setting of this historic inn, Kerrigan will host the annual Spooks and Spoofs dinner show. Two chefs and their culinary staff have created an imaginative dinner menu of Spirited Soup or Spooky Salad, choice of many entrees such as the inn’s Rest-In-Peace Roasted Prime Rib of Beef and Poltergeist Poultry, with the final resting of a Dangerously Delicious Dessert, Coffin Coffee and Tomb Tea.

While patrons enjoy this frightfully delicious meal, Kerrigan walks through the tables performing Civil War magic, recalling Ghost stories and performing in the dimly lit dining room a séance.

To be a part of the Dinner Séance and Ghost Stories, as seen on the Travel Channel, reservations for the 6:30 p.m. performances are required. The cost of the dinner and show is only $39.95 per person.
